To develop care leavers independent living skills, creating resilience, improved outcomes, inclusivity, co-production and stability to help them lead transformed lives within the community.
We pride ourselves in developing a meaningful working relationship with our young people and working closely with our key stakeholders including commissioning teams, social care teams, health, youth offending teams and the Police.
We recognise that we work in a complex environment, which is continually changing. By listening to everyone’s needs, we are able to adapt, improve and deliver a service which is best placed to meet them.
The common thread running through our service is our focus on treating each young person as an individual and supporting them to achieve 5 core outcomes, which includes:
· Independent living
· Education, Employment and Training (EET)
· Safety and security
· Health and wellbeing
· Financial stability
BFCS is a supported accommodation for care experienced young people between the ages of 16-21 years old. Our aim is to provide a good quality home for care leavers, which meets their practical, psychological and self-fulfilment needs.
